After the official premiere at the London Motor Show, the fourth generation of the popular hatchback Opel Corsa falls into the light. Using the platform of already gained success Astra and Astra GTC, the car appears in the images of selfish coupe-like 3-door hatchback or 5-door car for the family.

Since the early release in 1982, its owners have found 9.4 million more than the predecessor models, only in Europe. The new Opel Corsa is being produced in the Spanish plant in Saragossa, and in the town of Eisenach (Germany). Both versions came to the dealers in October 2006, and now they are in strong demand.

The new Opel Corsa is all that should be in a modern and fashionable car: stylish design, sporty «smartness of», and the interior, made of high quality materials. The salon, like a small car embodies the dream of a large internal space for passengers. High-tech equipment allows you to easily manage the car in all conditions. For the first time in the world, models of this class establish a system Flex-Fix, the steering wheel with high accuracy, as in sports cars. Feedback from the steering wheel let the driver reduce the efforts needed for maneuvering.

Precise contours of the body with three sports Opel Corsa recall muscles under the T-shirts. Curved roof lines make it resemble a hatchback coupe. After 5-doors hatchback Astra, which will premiere at the Frankfurt Motor, Opel will introduce versions of touring, sport coupe, as well as cabriolet. Opel Astra Cabrio model will replace the Astra TwinTop, but will be positioned as a sports car.

In addition, Opel Astra Cabrio will have only two seats and collapsible metal roof that will allow it to become a competitor roadster of MINI and Volkswagen, which should appear in the next two years. Presumably, the debut of the new Opel Astra Cabrio could be held next year.

The new generation of Opel Astra for comfort, safety and availability of innovative technologies will not yield to a more expensive model Insignia, because the price to model will be substantially lower. The exclusive technologies, such as a completely new chassis, modern lighting, the camera front type, which detects road signs and seats made in compliance with modern ergonomic technology – all of these Opel Astra offers to its potential buyers.

In the design of the new Opel Astra is also a spirit of Insignia, the same wing and outlined brinks. But there is a firm decision – the rear lights made in the form of a double wing, a dynamic cut in the rear arches, visually linking with the dynamic profile of the rear window and rear racks.
